Help Support UVA Pediatric Families
Volunteers make the difference in the lives of the patients and families hosted by LilyPads Housing so they feel welcomed and cared for. There are many ways to support people traveling to Charlottesville for medical care. We have several options listed below. Helping with Events
LilyPads volunteers for ticketed concerts at the Ting Pavilion and other events throughout the year. We are always in need of volunteers to support us on the day of the event. If you are interested in short blocks of time individually or in a group, please add your name to our volunteer list! by clicking below and filling out our volunteer form.
LilyPads Care Cart
The biweekly LilyPads Care Cart provides support items such as toiletries, blankets, warm socks, eye masks, ear plugs, books, snacks, children's activities, and more, free of charge, to families that are in-patient at UVA Children's Hospital. Family & School Projects
There are many projects that families and/or schools can do together to support hospital families like putting together sibling activity kits, knitting hats, making hot chocolate in jars, creating welcome bags, and more. If you are interested in helping, please email us so we can find you the perfect project!
Sewing Projects
LilyPads Housing works closely with Cville Craft Aid to complete sewing projects that support UVA Children's Hospital Families.
